Release 1.88 includes a regression for files > 10 GB that #1553 addresses. Despite the short time since the previous release I think we should address this issue.
@ggtakec What do you think about another release this weekend so hopefully Ubuntu 21.04 will include it? Are there any other small fixes or testing improvements we can do as well?
@juliogonzalez commented on GitHub (Feb 9, 2021):
I am still not sure about what I will do for Fedora, but anyway here's my question (just in case, and also because it's useful for distributions where 1.89 won't be pushed):
The patch for #1553 (https://patch-diff.githubusercontent.com/raw/s3fs-fuse/s3fs-fuse/pull/1553.diff) is enough to fix the problem, and nothing else is needed, right?
@gaul commented on GitHub (Feb 9, 2021):
Correct. There are other useful fixes in master but this is the only one needed if you want to run a 1.88-2 patch release.
@ggtakec commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2021):
I agree to release 1.89.
Besides the bug of #1553, I think #1453 deserves another major glitch.
We should release this weekend.
@ggtakec commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2021):
I merged #1584.
@juliogonzalez commented on GitHub (Feb 24, 2021):
Submission for the RPM packages
openSUSE/SUSE
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/874932 (as always, from there to Factory, Tumbleweed and the next Leap versions, while for maintained Leap versions the package maintainer will take care of the backports)
Fedora/EPEL
Remember to vote to add karma if you test the updates :-)
@gaul commented on GitHub (Feb 25, 2021):
Thanks as always @juliogonzalez!

Debian upgraded already. I opened an issue to upgrade Ubuntu:
