Details about the issue

When we call s3fs with the following options,

mountS3fs(){
    log "Attempting to mount s3fs fuse"
    s3fs "${s3Bucket}" "${mountPath}" \
    -o ro \
    -o noatime \
    -o passwd_file="${s3cred},use_path_request_style,url=${s3Endpoint}"
}

As per the load-model applied, file collection is happening every 5 mins, so when it again tries next time it fetches the object that CPU usage and I/O became high

@ggtakec commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2022):

The reason for this seems to be the poor performance of s3fs's internal processing when some number of jobs for fio.
Currently, I found a problem function and reviewing it.
This issue is likely the same as #2019.
