Describe the Bug

Android version, in dark mode on the phone, karakeep loads correctly as black the first time it is opened, but after returning to the homescreen and then opening it again (no matter how many times), it is white.

check video for details.

Frequency of bug occurrence: Every time
App version: 1.7.0
Android OS: 16
Device: xiaomi 15, HyperOS 3.0.2.0

Steps to Reproduce

open dark mode on the phone
open app, dark mode is on for the first time
back to homescreen ( still running in the background), and re-open app

Expected Behaviour

Restore dark mode normal logic

I've tested it on 2 other android devices (not your device model), but couldn't reproduce your problem 🤔
I wonder if anyone else can confirm to reproduce the problem? Not sure if it is device specific.

I think this problem is fixed in the 1.8 release which I still haven't got published on the play store. The apk is available in the mobile releases repo though.

yes, I've updated to version 1.8 in the android release and this issue has been fixed. Hope this version update can be launched on Google Play. Thank you for your work :) I'll close this issue.
