Installing macOS

- Installing macOS
- Power up the VM and you should see the OpenCore picker which automatically boots the "macOS Base System".
- Select the language you want to use.
- And then select "Reinstall macOS Sequoia" and "Continue"
- Agree to the software licence agreement.
- Select the "Macintosh HD" drive as the destination drive and press "Continue"
- Now wait as the full installer is pulled from Apple servers and prepared for installation.
- The VM will reboot and automatically boot to the "macOS Installer".
- It will reboot again to "macOS Installer".
- Finally rebooting into "Macintosh HD" and first boot setup process.
- Select country and region.
- Select "Set up as new".
- Configure you language preferences here.
- Select "Not Now" unless you require accessibility help.
- Continue on with privacy notice.
- Now create your new computer user account.
- Apple account select "Setup Up Later" and confirm.
- Accept the T&Cs.
- Disable using location services and confirm. Location is not available in the VM and it will default to Cupertino.
- Manually select your timezone.
- Select whether you want to send analytics to Apple. Recommendation is to switch it off.
- Set the screen time to "Set Up Later".
- Chose the look and feel for the VM.
- Updating the VM
- "Welcome to Mac"!
- Now power down your VM for post-installation tasks.

Apple account select "Setup Up Later" and confirm.

Apple account is not going to work so make sure to skip this setting.

Updating the VM
Caution
Always select "Only Download Automatically" or you may find the VM has been automatically upgraded to a different version.
"Welcome to Mac"!
Now power down your VM for post-installation tasks.
