Certificate expiration is signified by the rmm but there's no integrated script to force the update from an rmm menu

That won't be possible, because TRMM uses the LE DNS based SSL cert process. You have a script, and DNS process that needs to be done which we have no method of automating atm.

I'll do an update that clicking the link will take you to https://docs.tacticalrmm.com/update_server/#keeping-your-lets-encrypt-ssl-certificate-up-to-date which are the instructions needed to run the update

certs should be managed out of band anyway. if the cert is expired then you can't even login to update from the GUI. this doesn't make any sense, closing
