Describe the bug
When in user preferences client sorting is set to > Sort alphabetically only
the client list doesn't update and sort until you change it back to > Sort alphabetically only , move failing clients to the top
and then back again to only alphabetically.
Even then, after you close the tab in your browser and open it again, it falls back to the client list with failing ones on top, so you have to do the previously described steps again.

Thank you for reporting this. I have also noticed it over the years(?) and never said anything.

F5 aka refresh is a workaround. Came about when he was tuning the caching stuff to speed up the admin interface. I tried to find a way to reliably replicate to write up a bug report but was unable to.

can you guys record and post a video or GIF so I can try to reproduce?
@bbrendon commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2023):
My issue is slightly different. For me what happens is...
So for me on initial load it doesn't sort.

@wh1te909 commented on GitHub (May 25, 2023):
I was able to reproduce, fix will be in next release
@troubleshootme commented on GitHub (Dec 12, 2023):
This may be related to the above issue, but frequently when I select a client, it switches back to all clients even though the client shows selected in blue. Is anyone else having this issue?
