Having a network view of the client premise is requested.
As long as the agent is installed, a network scan can be initiated from the agent to fetch all devices that the agent can see on the same subnet.
Additional features that can be added to this:

  1. SNMP scanning to see printers and more.
  2. Credential manager to provide several different credential to use while scanning.
  3. Auto-deploy scripts to install agent on every suitable device that is found on the network while scanning.
  4. Monitor network performance
  5. Monitor UP-Time of pre-defined devices on the network if an agent can't be installed on them.
  6. Collect network devices information into inventory list
  7. Update network inventory on a schedule base.
  8. Optional open ports scanning.
  9. Optional network map creation from the inventoried devices.
  10. Optional saving of network devices config files.

Was just about to log a feature request for this.

It would be amazing to even add Non Managed Devices, like network switches/ thin clients etc, as a manual entry, under another tab. Servers, Workstations, Non Managed.

Reason being, that new Technicians could get a wider understanding of the network environment and we should put notes in the description on how to manage these devices.

Thanks

In the mean time use the Network scanner script
