Server Info (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
  • Browser: Chrome, Edge, Safari
  • RMM Version (as shown in top left of web UI): v1.2.0

Installation Method:

  • Standard
  • Standard with --insecure flag at install
  • Docker

Agent Info (please complete the following information):

  • Agent version (as shown in the 'Summary' tab of the agent from web UI): 2.9.1
  • Agent OS: Windows Server 2019

Describe the bug
Even when Alert Template is correctly configured and applied to Automation Policies and Automation Policies applied to Sites/Clients etc. email Alerts currently do not trigger on Warning level checks, only on Error level checks.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set up email alerts in global settings.
  2. Set up alert templates
  3. Create automation policies with checks such as hard disk space, memory/cpu utilization etc.
  4. Apply automation policies to desired sites/clients
  5. When a warning is triggered from any checks, it appears fine in dashboard, but email alert not sent.
  6. When an error is triggered from any checks, it appears fine in dashboard and an email alert is sent.

Expected behavior
Email Alerts should have sent for both Warning & Error level checks upon triggering as in the Alert Template, it is set to trigger email on both Warnings and Errors.

Ok I now made it to work correctly but I think it is still a bug. So in global settings, if I set up the following like in the screenshot it works now for warning level checks too, but if not set it seems the Alert Template is not overriding the global settings?
