Summary
Add a search or filter field to the left-hand navigation panel to quickly find specific Clients or Sites.
As the number of clients grows, it becomes increasingly difficult to locate the correct entry, especially since the list is currently sorted by alert severity rather than alphabetically.

Current Behavior

  • The left navigation lists all Clients (and optionally Sites) in one long, scrollable list.
  • The order is primarily influenced by alert status, which is useful for monitoring but not for navigation.
  • When there are many Clients, it becomes cumbersome to scroll and locate a specific one, especially if it has no active alerts.

Proposed Solution

Add a small search bar or filter input at the top of the Clients/Sites list.

Desired behavior:

  1. Typing into the field filters the visible Clients/Sites in real time.
  2. The filter should match partial names.
  3. Optionally, allow filtering by tags or site names.
  4. (Optional) Add an alphabetical sort toggle as an alternative view.

Benefits

  • Faster navigation when managing many Clients/Sites.
  • Reduces time wasted scrolling through long lists.
  • Improves usability and scalability for large MSP environments.
  • Works well alongside the existing alert-based sorting.
