If possible could there be a button/toggle switch added in the users menu to disable google auth when signing in.
@P6g9YHK6 commented on GitHub (Apr 4, 2025):
are you asking to disable 2fa ?
@JayModded0 commented on GitHub (Apr 7, 2025):
Yes, If there's a method or way to disable it for specific accounts and/or the server itself
@wh1te909 commented on GitHub (Apr 7, 2025):
we could add an option to disable a provider, but for specific accounts that would need to be done in the SSO provider, as that's really the whole purpose of SSO is to manage users there, not in tactical. so you could disable 2FA in google OU for example
@JayModded0 commented on GitHub (Apr 9, 2025):
My apologies, I shouldn’t of said Google authentication. What I’m asking is if there can be an option added in the RMM GUI to disable needing 2FA authentication?
@wh1te909 commented on GitHub (Apr 9, 2025):
this has been discussed before and we're not going to allow disabling 2FA for local accounts. you could however use SSO and disable 2FA that way.
