It seems that the call-log is only backed up (updated) after a new SMS-arrives.
(Regular scehdule set to 6 hours, incoming SMS-schedule set to 3 min). For example the call log in gmail showed the most recent call being two days ago, but after I sent myself a test-sms the gmail call log suddenly showed calls from the last two days too.
@jberkel commented on GitHub (Mar 12, 2011):
getting a phone call should probably trigger the backup, in the same way an incoming sms triggers a backup.
@badbob001 commented on GitHub (Jun 8, 2011):
It looks like only an incoming SMS triggers a backup as I too really want an incoming call to trigger a backup as well.
My plan to is for this app to add a 'Missed Call' item on gmail soon after a missed call. Then a gmail rule will forward that email to another gmail mailbox.Gmail Notifier on my phone is also monitoring that second gmail mailbox and new emails will trigger a repeating notification. This crazy scheme to just to guarantee I know I have a missed call.
