Hi!
For some unknown reason, the "Calendar sync" option is disabled in "Call log settings." The 2nd Calendar option, also disabled, says:
"None
Calendar used for call logs"
Any idea why the calendar sync would be disabled? I disabled and re-enabled gmail account access and granted permissions, though the issue continues. On the "Grant Access" page, the 2 things I was asked to grand permission to were
Gmail
Contacts
There was no calendar option.
Any ideas on how to enable Calendar sync options? Thanks!

A few users have reported this, but i'm not able to reproduce. what's your device? does the calendar app show your calendars ? (call log backup to calendar doesn't use the remote API - it relies on the local sync)
@ghost commented on GitHub (Mar 2, 2011):
Solved it!
My device is HTC Evo 4G. The calendars were showing on the local calendar app. I do have Titanium Backup and had the local calendar app frozen. I also have 3 google accounts/profiles syncing on my device.
Solution? I let the backup run fully once manually, and then once automatically. After that, the "Calendar Sync" option was enabled and the "Calls - Calendar used for call logs" option under it was enabled also. I was able to duplicate this twice:
1 : Calendar sync options disabled.
2 : Run backup manually first.
3 : Let backup run automatically.
4 : After a while [I checked after about an hour each time after the automatic backup], the calendar option was enabled.
Note that the local calendar app, via Titanium Backup, is still frozen. SMS Backup+ works perfectly. Thanks!

I have the same issue as you have. I have Motorola Defy with 2.1-update1 and 2.51.1 Blur
I have tried besz's trick but no result.. :-(
I use my calendar actively with 10+ calendars.
@besz: how do you mean frozen?
@dr-norton commented on GitHub (Aug 24, 2011):
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini + Eclair + SMS Backup Plus 1.4.3
The tickbox becomes enabled somehow. So, it's not the only way but I can say besz's solution works.
@ghost commented on GitHub (Aug 24, 2011):
Hey pvojnisek (just noticed this after dr-norton's reply),
By frozen, I mean I "froze" the Local Calendar app via Titanium Backup. If you don't have Titanium Backup or you haven't frozen your calendar, then you can ignore what I said about Titanium Backup. The rest should still work though. Is the option always disabled for you?
Dr-norton, same thing while I was using SMS Backup Plus. Glad that it works at least.
@pvojnisek commented on GitHub (Aug 24, 2011):
@besz: after some days of use, the option became enabled and it was no problem anymore. I don't have a clue what happened.. :-)

Me too, wait a monent, this option will became avaliable
Droid X

I can confirm the issue on a Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 running Android 2.3.4. For me it was sufficient to exit and restart the sms backup+ and the option was available and call logs were synced as expected.
