Checklist (we expect you to perform these steps before opening the issue)
Describe the Bug
Ratchet & Clank seems to have an issue in game with characters and spaceships:
To me it looks a bit similar to vertex explosions in Bloodborne, but to get the game working you need both readbacks and readbackLinearImages enabled so that sets it a bit apart.
Reproduction Steps
Not exactly sure how to reproduce it, since on my main PC the issue happens on both my dedicated Nvidia GPU and my Intel iGPU, but on my second PC on Linux Mint with a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super I can't reproduce the issue, I think it's either an issue with Windows or Intel, could be both also but I believe it's not a GPU issue.

I have the same problem as you in this game. My PC's configuration: win11, intel i5-12600k rtx 3070ti (driver 580.88)
@squidbus commented on GitHub (Oct 1, 2025):
I don't have this issue with Rosetta on macOS or an AMD CPU on Windows so it seems the common theme here is probably Intel CPUs.
@Missake212 commented on GitHub (Oct 1, 2025):
I'm not so sure anymore after looking at this report, Pirky tested on a 10th gen Intel CPU (I believe it's a laptop CPU) on Windows but didn't get the same problem, I hate bringing everything to BB but perhaps it only happens on certain Intel CPUs? Would be nice to check if someone who has the issue on Windows can also reproduce it on Linux, I can't dual boot on my rig.
@sector24 commented on GitHub (Oct 1, 2025):
I managed to solve the texture bug problem. I created a shortcut for the game. In the properties, I checked the win7 box in the Compatibility section. I launched the game from the shortcut, and there were no texture bugs.
@Missake212 commented on GitHub (Oct 1, 2025):
That's not really a fix, it's a workaround at best
@Missake212 commented on GitHub (Oct 9, 2025):
Managed to test the same rig on Linux by live booting with a USB stick, the vertex like issue on characters and airships doesn't happen, I did notice a few things flickering things but I guess that could be attributed to Linux's Nvidia drivers or something like that, anyway the issue is definitely Windows x Intel related.
Sorry for the phone pic but I didn't feel like taking a screenshot and logging in to GitHub on the USB live boot:
