Describe the feature you'd like

When saving a product page from som shop in Mymind, it handles it and shows the price directly in the UI. It also replaces the web page screenshot with the product image from the page.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Karakeep users

This'll really help for using Karakeep for a wishlist usecase, since users will be able to see important information directly in the UI.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Manually tag all links with the required metadata

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

It would be great to also handle more metadata like Mymind does. For example, it also shows the brand and material for products, and it also handles other link types such as Tweets or Spotify albums and shows them differently in the UI.

Yeah, this can be really cool. I think it can be a start for this idea of having different type of links ("products", "twitter", etc).

This is a great idea. It would also be cool for the system to periodically and automatically re-crawl "products" to check for price and availability changes.

It could also be a great default "smart list."

@MohamedBassem this isn't really closed, as far as I can see it currently only hardcodes the renderer for Amazon, whereas MyMind automatically detects product pages on any website
