Describe the feature you'd like

Hoarder currently enters reader mode of a browser and saves the web page.

I would like to see an option to have it save a webpage without doing this.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

This would allow hoarding pages that are currently not displaying properly in reader mode. I need to follow the link to the actual page, and I don't get the benefits of AI tagging.

E.g. https://newsletterhunt.com/

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

Theoretically yes, practically no.

Contacting other websites and getting them to patch their reader mode is the other option.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Doesn't "Download full page archive" provide what you describe? When it is done, expanded item card has "Archive" in dropdown which shows close to original page.
Not sure it will work for resource you mentioned though, it won't show any content without login.

There is content without login, if you know where to look. I'm following some.

I've tried the full page archive option.

Doesn't work for my case - no benefit of AI tagging and only the first screen at top is captured. Single file doesn't capture content either.
