Describe the feature you'd like

Option to use a white favicon (like the dark mode hoarder logo) on the web app.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

When the browser is set to dark mode, the hoarder favicon would be more visible on it's tab.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

I don't think so.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

Additional context

Love the app. Thanks for all the efforts!

I second this request. The icon itself has no contrast for dark-mode themed appliances. It's basically impossible to see on dark-mode browsers, as well as Android, and having to search for it is a large detractor from using it, as it's basically impossible to see. While we may not need to be able to select a light-mode icon, it would be nice if the icon itself had some contrast that makes it visible for both light mode and dark mode applications.

An SVG Favicon would fix the issue as you can set the colour via media queries:

Unfortunately not all browsers and platforms support it.
