Currently when adding Reddit links, the representative image ends up being an AD. How might I change this behaviour?

is this now fixed with this new feature to edit "Banner Image" and "Screenshots"?

Seems a little bit too involved to me to actually upload an image you have to aquire before.

I guess it takes the first image it finds as banner image? For most of my bookmarks it uses the screenshot as banner image, even when other images can be found on the site. Not exactly sure where it pulls the reddit ads images from as they cannot be seen on the screenshot.

Most times for me the images it chooses as banner do not even reflect the content (e.g. choosing the portrait of the author of an article).

At least I would like to be able to just set the screenshot as banner image, I think this is already possible with just deleting the banner image, but it comes back when you refresh the bookmark. I would like to be able to set using the screenshot as standard behaviour.
