Describe the Bug

As the title says, modifying the configuration by writing or editing the environment in env does not make the configuration take effect. Simply deleting the container also doesn't work; you must delete the container and then also delete all the data for the configuration to take effect.

Steps to Reproduce

Modifying the configuration cannot take effect

Expected Behaviour

Can it be modified so that the configuration can take effect by restarting the container or just deleting the container without deleting the data?
