Currently, these sensor types, motion and leak detectors, do not show in Itsyhome. Could you please consider adding them if possible including their current status, whether motion or water detect etc.
Thanks

@Kookaburra2027 What would be practical use for this? I intentionally left them out as they are only useful for Automations, but maybe you can tell me at which point you'd look at these?
@Kookaburra2027 commented on GitHub (Feb 10, 2026):
Thanks for the reply and for explaining it was a deliberate direction :-) Other than completeness and avoiding the need to jump back into the Apple Home app for basic information, having sensors visible still adds a few clear, benefits for me at least:
-A quick view of what’s happening in the home at that moment
-An easy way to confirm whether sensors like motion, contact sensors, and leaks actually triggered when something behaves unexpectedly like from automation
-Draw attention to sensor dropping offline or low battery
Adding sensor could be lightweight by grouping or collapsing them in rooms or one section for the home. Also, sensor visibility could be optional with the ability to turn them off.
Thanks

I feel like these are for a lot more than just automations. They provide an overview of the state of the home. They don't need to take up a lot of space, but I think it'd be best if nothing is intentionally left out. Different people use their devices differently.

+1
@nickustinov commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
Fair enough, I will consider adding it.

I would live to see a couple of sensors(outdoor temp, PV stuff) in the menu bar.
