Current behavior

Environment,

OS: Windows 11
Hoppscotch version: v2024.10.2
Displays: Main display + extended display

Current behaviour,

  1. Hoppscotch is active (opened) in the extended display
  2. Then, Hoppscotch is minimized to the system tray
  3. Maximize Hoppscotch again, it opens in the main display

Expected behaviour,

  1. Hoppscotch is active (opened) in the extended display
  2. Then, Hoppscotch is minimized to the system tray
  3. Maximize Hoppscotch again, then it should open back in the extended display where it was minimized

Steps to reproduce

  1. Hoppscotch is active (opened) in the extended display
  2. Then, Hoppscotch is minimized to the system tray
  3. Maximize Hoppscotch again, it opens in the main display instead of the extended display from which it was minimized

hi. same issue here

Think this is a Windows thing. The solution for me was, move Hoppscotch window to the extended display, make Hoppscotch non-maximized (this is not minimizing, but making the view smaller than full-screen), then maximize it within the extended display. Now it won't move to any other display no matter how many times you minimize and maximize
