Is there an existing issue for this?
Summary
Like how Arc, Edge & some firefox extensions do it, putting the tabs on the left instead of on top
Why should this be worked on?
Tabicon, so UI work should be limited (quick n easy W)@GetPsyched commented on GitHub (Aug 23, 2024):
How would this work? For example on browsers like Firefox, it works because there is nothing else there. In Hoppscotch you already have three sidebars. Adding one more might just be pushing it.
@thomassth commented on GitHub (Aug 23, 2024):
I'd imagine it be like how the History tab is done, using the existing sidebar areas. (Ie. You can see history or tabs, but not at the same time)
@GetPsyched commented on GitHub (Aug 24, 2024):
Hmm, that makes sense.
@Codewithmeowmeow commented on GitHub (Sep 30, 2024):
i would like to work on this issue kindly assign it to me.
@GetPsyched commented on GitHub (Sep 30, 2024):
Not a maintainer here, but just spin up a PR, push the first draft and link it to this issue. Assignment is simply a formality
@subh05sus commented on GitHub (Apr 5, 2025):
I would like to work on this
Can anyone please assign this to me ?
@GetPsyched commented on GitHub (Apr 5, 2025):
See above^
No one should wait for assignment, just put up a PR and link it here; worry about assignment later.
The last person asked for an assignment, and then just vanished.
