In https://github.com/hickory-dns/hickory-dns/pull/2242 the CHANGELOG update forgot to include the content from https://github.com/hickory-dns/hickory-dns/pull/2183 This branch adds the main user facing changes to the relevant sections of the changelog.

It would be nice if the GitHub release notes could be updated with these changes as well. Less for my own vanity and more so that the breaking changes are documented for consumers. Thanks!
