Current Limitations

Currently, electerm's RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) functionality has certain limitations. It can only connect to a limited set of RDP servers.

Supported Servers

The following servers are known to work well with electerm's RDP feature:

• Windows 11
• Windows Server 2016
• Other modern Windows systems with recent RDP protocol support

Unsupported Servers

The following types of servers may not be able to connect:

• Older Windows servers (e.g., Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012)
• Some older Windows desktop versions
• Free RDP servers or third-party RDP implementations
• Servers with outdated or non-standard RDP configurations

Future Plans

The author is actively working on improving the RDP functionality and plans to:

• Add support for more RDP server types and versions
• Enhance compatibility with older systems
• Improve error handling and connection stability
• Add more RDP-related features
