📖 This is a living Wiki. Changes may be made as more discoveries are made or more community software is made. If you feel like you have information to contribute to this wiki please open a pull request.
Welcome to iamromulan's Cellular Modem Wiki!
It is my hope that this repo can serve as a universal wiki for all cellular modems. However, for now this wiki will mainly focus on Quectel M.2 modems.
To keeps things nice, this wiki will be organized into sub-wikis based on modem manufacture
Note: This repo originally was the guide for setting up an ethernet connection directly to a Quectel M.2 modem. This guide still exists! Each modem platform now has a customized version of the guide tailored to each. Scroll down to the directory and choose your manufacture to find it. ⤵️

If you'd like to help contribute to this wiki the easiest way on Windows is to:
- Fork this repo
- Download and install Github Desktop and sign into your Github account
- Clone your Fork in Github desktop
- Install Obsidian and choose Open Folder as Vault, navigate to the location of the clone (normally
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\GitHub\cellular-modem-wiki) - Use Obsidian to edit and use Github desktop to keep changes synced with your fork on Github. When you are ready to contribute to this project, open a pull request from your fork to this repo. ~
