Describe feature
It makes no sense to allow the
stale-botto close feature requests, as those will often sit untouched for months before project maintainers have time to get around to them. The stale-bot config should be modified to skip issues with the labelkind/feature-request.@rmunn commented on GitHub (Feb 14, 2022):
This request comes out of my frustration at seeing https://github.com/nektos/act/issues/907 closed because I didn't keep adding comments to keep it alive. IMHO, the
stale-botcauses more problems than it solves: as an issue reporter, I have to keep poking at the issues to make sure they stay alive, and if I miss a notification email, a feature request is closed without any ability (on my part) to reopen it. As a maintainer, you get fewer open feature requests and have a harder time keeping track of what features users are asking for.
