Description

Steps to Reproduce (if you noticed a specific pattern)

Go to Youtube, choose the video
Click on copy the youtube link
I download it with Clip grab or cobalt
The video is downloaded... but with translation (instead of original)

Environment

Browser: Firefox
Extension Version: 138 (aarch64)
OS: macOS sequoia

Additional Context (Optionnal)

Same problem with other Browser (Safari, Duckduckgo)
Are there any solution to download a video without translation?
IA translation is awful compared to original, don't you think? (mistakes, voice, quality of sound)

Hi,

Unfortunately this is outside the scope of the YouTube No Translation extension.

The extension only works within your browser on youtube.com itself. External download services (like Clip Grab or Cobalt) use YouTube's APIs directly and retrieve whatever version YouTube provides them - which might be the translated version.

Also downloading YouTube videos using external services may violate YouTube's Terms of Service so I will not provide support for such use cases.
