Models that don't support data deduplication in DSM 7.2.1, 7.2 and 7.1.1

Any Synology that does NOT have one of the following CPU package architectures do NOT support data deduplication

These are the only CPU package architectures do support data deduplication:

  • Geminilake
  • R1000
  • V1000
  • Broadwellnkv2
  • Broadwellnk
  • Broadwell
  • Purley
  • Epyc7002
