Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/EslaMx7/ScreenTask/issues/5

I tested ScreenTask and love it for its simplicity.

However, there is a difference when selecting or de-selecting "Capture Mouse Pointer" when used in a multi-monitor environment, because it also changes the display behaviour:

-unchecking this option will only transfer the main screen from the server side

  • checking it will transfer all of them side by side (as an extended desktop)

Is there a chance of being able to specify a single monitor on a multi-monitor setup, other than seeing all by tracking the mousepointer ? Maybe a select option in the server setup window, or by dragging the server setup window onto the desired screen ?

Best,

Sven

Hello Sven,

Thank you for testing my app, and i really appreciate your feedback.
fortunately the feature you asking has been developed to the dev branch (you can build it yourself and get the binary file), someone has contacted me by email days ago to make this feature urgently to use it in his work, i did it and sent him the custom version by email but i forget to update the repository here with the new binary and installer file, so you can download the custom version from here instead :
Download Link

test it and tell me if that what you actually need to close the issue ;)

Regards,
Eslam

Hy @SGi99 I have this a (clientside) feature in my rewritten client that allows you to only view one screen or a viewport, see http://github.com/HoffmannP/ScreenTask

Hello there guys, pretty awesome tool you got here. I just came across it and really useful app.
What I wanted to ask is that is it possible to only share a certain screen from different explorers I have running rather than sharing the screen I am currently on. I saw it raised as an issue and tried out the updated version. It only shows me screen - DISPLAY1, though I have got multiple screens open. Let me know about the fix. Thanks.
