Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

I've downloaded the latest release and there is no EXE file to run.
I read wiki and it says nothing about that.
On the other hand the release attracted many likes.
It wouldn't do if there was something wrong with it.
I'm confused.
