It appears that Proxyman converts the timestamps on logs into local time, but when your workflow involves looking at logs generated by other people in other timezones it can be very confusing and tedious to establish exactly what time this means relative to their timezone or GMT. I think the following would be valuable enhancements :

Good : Either optionally or always show the timezone for timestamps
better : Allow the user to configure whether the timestamps should be shown in original timezone, GMT, or local

I don't have a strong preference for how this would manifest in the UX but I can imagine any of the following:

a timezone notation in the connection "summary"
a timezone notation in the time column
a timezone column
a pref that allows you to set the display timezone (a visual reminder of this might be handy)

Proxyman version? (Ex. Proxyman 1.4.3)

3.1.0

macOS Version? (Ex. mac 10.14)

12.2

Steps to reproduce

Expected behavior

Screenshots (optional)

Thanks for your feedback. It totally makes sense 👍

I will add this option (Show the timezone) in the Preference, you can opt-in it 👍

Let's try this build @IMNilesAZ https://proxyman.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/beta/Proxyman_3.4.0_Show_time_with_timezone.dmg

Please note that:

  1. You have to enable it in Preference -> Advanced -> Show Full Time Format
  2. Your log file must be exported by this Beta build. (Old build doesn't contain any Timezone)
