Describe the bug

I'm just playing Zenless Zone Zero one day, when my character suddenly goes slightly diagonal instead of straight when I press W. Checking my keymapping, I see that the WASD key is slightly off, even though I never adjusted it at all. I tried realigning it, but it just goes back to being off center. Does anyone else have this issue, or is it just me? And does anyone know how to fix this?

Steps to reproduce

I don't know if this helps. But I tried readjusting the joystick key with the in-game joystick.

Expected behaviour

The alignment works for a bit, only for it to randomly go out of alignment again.

@SwampertX commented on GitHub (Jul 19, 2025):

I faced a similar issue. There are two possibilities:

  1. In the most recent version of ZZZ, the battle joystick position and the usual/street/city joystick position are slightly misaligned, so if you align your WASD for one, the other will be misaligned. In that case, I haven't found a better solution than using #1567 that has just be recently merged into the develop branch.
  2. Maybe it is a problem with floating joystick in your keymaps?

I am personally using solution 1 now.
