Patbin

A modern, minimalist pastebin built with Go and Gin framework. Features syntax highlighting, dark/light themes, optional authentication, and a responsive UI.

Quick Start

Prerequisites

  • Go 1.21 or higher

Run Locally

git clone https://github.com/AmarnathCJD/PatBin.git
cd PatBin
go mod download
go run main.go

Visit http://localhost:8080

Using Docker

docker build -t patbin .
docker run -p 8080:8080 -v patbin-data:/app/data patbin

Configuration

Variable Default Description
PORT 8080 Server port
JWT_SECRET patbin-super-secret... JWT signing key
DB_PATH patbin.db SQLite database path

Syntax Highlighting

Access pastes with file extension:
