Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/GameServerManagers/LinuxGSM/issues/218

Whenever I try email-test, it seems to not read the log files correctly:

./tfcserver.sh email-test
tail: cannot open '/path/to/log/console/tfc-server-console.log' for reading: No such file or directory

Shouldn't it be something more like:

tfc-server-console-20-11-2014-02-06-18.log

?

Which distro are you running? If you have a version of tmux less than 1.6 console logging does not work. See issue https://github.com/dgibbs64/linuxgameservers/issues/222 that I raised yesterday after discovering this

Just wanted to say again that this is still happening on my server and the issue is not an outdated tmux.

Changed the title to something more appropriate, considering this isn't just TFC related on my server.

I am unable to replicate the issue, for me its working as intended. I only get the issue if I delete the logs in the console dir. Once I restart the server and email-test I get no error.

Please make sure your running the new version of the script just in case you are running a version with an old bug I don't know about and let me know if that helps

Check issue #157, I left a comment about my results with Slackware and these scripts. It will probably provide a decent amount of info to get this fixed along with other issues.

Since updating to Tmux 1.9a I don't see this issue anymore, going to close.
