I have a user who was previously using Clipy on her iMac. We got her a new iMac, used superduper to clone the old computer over to the new computer, and now Clipy won't open. When I try to open the app, nothing happens, icon doesn't appear in the menu bar. I have tried removing the app and downloading fresh copy of 1.1.4, but no luck. This computer is running 10.12.6 macOS. Any thoughts or have you experienced this before? I can check any logs that you like if you can just point me in the right direction.

Thank you!

@dhumes0524 Please check the following folders and search for Clipy's crash logs?

Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Clipy_*.crash

I've had a similar issue and fixed it by removing ~/Library/Application Support/com.clipy-app.Clipy folder and replace /Application/Clipy.app with latest version. I've lost my settings but better than not being able to use this useful app.

It is probably caused by corrupted Clipy preferences.
