after popping up the search field(with shortcut or pressing the magnifier button), pressing enter key after you type something, should go to the first result.
instead, pressing enter, go to a new line, which ruins the search functionality

I'm on the latest version Version 0.18.0 (0.18.0)

Hi, it should be more of a feature/improvement request,

I have a plan to bring global search more alike new local search functionality for next release.

Did you try using sidebar search? It should work the same as global search but might be better in this scenario?
