Current behavior

You can only change to and from preview mode by clicking on the icons at the bottom of the app.

Expected behavior

The old app allowed an option of switching in and our of preview mode with Right Click.

Are there any plans on adding this feature?

Sorry, we don't have a plan to introduce the behavior. But you can switch edit/preview mode via Ctrl + E(macOS: Cmd + E) and switch split/single editor mode via Ctrl + \(macOS: Cmd + \)
