@raxghav-gif commented on GitHub (Aug 27, 2025):
Right after I login it gives me the same errors
@Spaidermens commented on GitHub (Aug 28, 2025):
I had the same problem, fixed it by deleting the credentials.json file in the data folder. Ran into the problem after downloading a playlist, if you're seeing this without already logging in once idk the fix.
@Googolplexed0 commented on GitHub (Aug 28, 2025):
The first error could only really happen if the stored credentials file was blank or invalid. The second one is cut off by the screenshot, but from what I can see it seems like an error internal to librespot.
If you want help you need to provide a lot more information by properly filing out the [Bug Report] form.
@raxghav-gif commented on GitHub (Aug 28, 2025):
Hi there, thank you for your responses. @Googolplexed0 How do I fill out the bug report form? Should i just attach a screenshot of the entire error below? if so, here's the whole thing. Gives me this after logging in, I deleted the credentials.json and tried to re-log in.
@Googolplexed0 commented on GitHub (Aug 30, 2025):
The bug report form is an Issue Template.
Your
self.get_token()function is incorrect, which means you are using an outdated version of librespot. Force reinstall zotify usingpipx install --force git+https://github.com/Googolplexed0/zotify.gitand it should be fixed.@satonotdead commented on GitHub (Sep 11, 2025):
Hi there, please can somebody tell me how to reinstall everything with librespot and all dependancies? I probably messed up librespot versions battling with badcredentials.
