I just had an idea that a lighter weight browser could make Piosk more performant and stay up longer with crappier Pi computers. I haven't yet investigated what it would take or if some of what we're doing here could be reused for a lighter experience. But I'm going to try it out, see if it drops the ram requirements without being terrible to look at.

Please post how did your adventure go. Although I don't see us going that route (cause it'll be a maintenance hell), I do love the idea of a leaner alternative. Feel free to fork it up!
