Hi,
i have tried version 0.9.6 full cd on Super socket 7 SS7 ZIda Tomato TX98-3D+K6-2 (not cmov support)+DVD 32- 284 MB board, but its not working as suggested, installation doesnt start. VGA is MAtrox G200. Install DVD works in other machine and DVD drive is fine.
I have 160 GB limited by jumper to 32 GB, Bios is able to find it, i have the last unofficial bios.
When i select stock Win98 - i get reboot right away, when i use select minimal i get reboot right after partition selection.
When i look on boot log is see something about UDMA 100 (maybe its related only to max supported drive).. but board is able to do UDMA 33 max,
I have zip drive connected if it matter.
When i just stay on the first screen i get reboot right away i have different memory sticks too.
I will fiddle with it and try more HW, but it seems more like software than broken HW.
Update: I have tried different storage just 4GB compact flash card, but it's the same..
Stock WIndows 98 install is running fine.. There is advertised 486 so absence of cmov instruction and non 686 compatibility shouldnt be problem.

Thank you for the report! It's pretty clear that the old IDE controllers
cause a lot of problems unfortunately:(
I will check this when I get the time but I do not have this zida board
sadly
