Hello,
I played around with xSearch for Safari and it turned out that it is possible to use whoogel-search as search engine.
Is it worth to mention this as unsupported workaround for Safari in the Manual or the FAQ?
Pro:
You can still use safari with the new password manger (main and only reason to use Safari)
Con:
xSearch is not open source.
@kingmath commented on GitHub (Jan 18, 2025):
You can use Customize Search Engine. It works on Mac, iOS an iPadOS.
It is also on Github
