Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Hello,
I noticed that when searching via the landing page, the search string (the
qGET parameter) is encoded, this is nice.How to replicate this behaviour when setting one's own whoogle instance as the default search engine? In this case, one must insert "%s" in place of the search query string.
