Describe the bug
when trying to access the whoogle app in the browser via https://domain.com it sometime results in "405 Method not Allowed". This doesn't happen every single time. reloading the URL will load the app as it should.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. set whoogle as your search engine in browser
  2. Go to your browsers address bar and search something
  3. occasionally you will receive a blank page with the error "Method not Allowed"
  4. reload the page
  5. whoogle app loads normally as it should.

Deployment Method

  • Heroku (one-click deploy)
  • Docker
  • run executable
  • pip/pipx
  • Other: [describe setup]

Version of Whoogle Search

  • Latest build from [hub.docker.com]
Version [0.7.4] there were a few updates to this version since this BUG was mentioned by Sutidor #821
have been testing several Digest ID's from hub.docker.com but all resulted in the same situation

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Win10
  • Browser Firefox
  • Version 103

Additional context
i commented on the closed ticket #821 with this comment: https://github.com/benbusby/whoogle-search/issues/821#issuecomment-1213191048. I can't open that ticket unfortunately.

little over a week ago i removed my whoogle search from my browser and added the https://IP-ADDRESS:PORT/ as a search engine. So far i haven't gotten the error. I too was using a reverse proxy (traefik instead of nginx) and firefox.
Usually i got about 3-4 errors per day while using Whoogle via https://domain.com
