It's isn't per say a problem but updating the menu make's it pretty impossible to delete only files that aren't needed anymore between releases.
I have Windows install in the same assets directory

It's a dirty way but i created a PR

I agree with @Adambis1, while it's not critical the tracked assets list being dominated by Windows install decreases the usefulness of the list. It's enough that I'm actually considering a script to move the files out when I'm not using them.
