I constantly observe myself informing people how long a paste is actually valid when i shoot them a link. Maybe this is something that can be added to the UI?

Something along the lines of:

valid until <xxx date/time>
or
burn\toast in countdown (maybe even a live countdown if you want to go all fancy)

Thanks for the suggestion, much appreciated. I went for the least offensive one and added it to the title line:

(yes, the fix for the expiration separator from @cgzones will be forward ported).
