Make the search filter always being visible and let only the actuall list scroll.
I am using this workaround with Stylus addon:

#main-content > app-vault > .tw-flex .tw-basis-1\/4

    position: fixed;
    width: calc(25% - 55px);
}

#main-content > app-vault > .tw-flex .tw-basis-3\/4
{
    position: relative;
    left: calc(25% + 20px);
}

This allows me:

To always see the current applied filter
I have a big list and if I want to change the filter there is no need to scroll all the way up
