When logging in via chrome on a desktop, I'm greeted with the above error after entering my correct 2FA authentication key, however if i press the "back" button I'm brought to the home screen ~/apps/files/?dir=/

Sounds like a problem with an expired session. Did you complete the 2FA challenge right away or was the page open for a lengthy period of time?
