I have seen this tracker return the same amount of peers/seeds in different torrent
@Xarcotic commented on GitHub (Mar 25, 2022):
While I don't agree that the tracker is malicious, I can confirm that it's returning non-correct values for seeds/peers/downloaded.
@romanescu-sg commented on GitHub (Mar 25, 2022):
Same here.
@kast1450 commented on GitHub (Mar 25, 2022):
This tracker is malicious, I agree. I recommend removing it from the list.
@rautamiekka commented on GitHub (Mar 25, 2022):
Begs the Q: how long has it done all that by now ?
@CN-Cyber-Jacky commented on GitHub (Mar 26, 2022):
Please remove pow7.com.
@nuclear-c0w commented on GitHub (Mar 26, 2022):
just noticed it. had to remove the tracker from my huge list of torrents. please remove all pow7 related trackers
@descear commented on GitHub (Mar 26, 2022):
@Xarcotic, they are intentionally returning those values. Returning those incorrect values causes harm to the operation of my software. The tracker is intentionally causing harm, so, yes, it is malicious.
@ngosang commented on GitHub (Mar 27, 2022):
Confirmed. Blacklisted from now.
@HolyRoses commented on GitHub (Jan 17, 2026):
seems fine to me. It returns correct values at http://pow7.com/announce
