I think it would be nice and convenient to have a setting to choose various file formats such as FLAC, ALAC, MP3, etc.

I can only fetch 16/44.1 from Tidal. If you mean converting it on the client side, that could be possible. However, it won't result in any data savings.

I did mean converting it in the client side before downloading albums for the convenience for mp3 devices. could you do that? Thanks in advance.
