Is there a way to leave everything by default?
I have tried to uninstall, but the cron leaves them modified anyway.

I would also want to know how to revert all the changes. As you mentioned uninstalling only removes the task

I'm not Alex, and I have nothing to do with this script. But looking at what the script edits I can see that reinstalling the same version of DSM would undo the changes made by hyber_fixer.py

DSM won't normally let you reinstall the same DSM version but my https://github.com/007revad/Synology_DSM_reinstall script will. The result is no different to manually upgrading DSM, so all your data remains, and all settings you've changed through the UI remain.

The only settings that may not be restored can be changed in Package Center:

  1. Package Center > General > Notification.
  2. Package Center > Auto Update.
