I think for me the quick fix is just an indicator that says that you still need to click the Add Plugin button. Right now, you click the button, an OTP prompt comes up and when successful, you are back to where you were. Maybe something like, if the button started as a reddish color and then became a green color post OTP, or the text changes in the button.

Second challenge is that plugins can take some time to install and the UI doesnt let you know that the install is still going.
